After lunch at Rakuzen at the top floor of the Pavilion shops, Mr. Eng sketched his plan on a proper piece of paper. The napkins had been cleared away, along with the spread of lacquered bowls and plates. Our tea cups were refilled as Mr. Eng explained the basic setup of his proposed REIT. Industrial buildings was a welcome new addition, flanked on both sides by Kindergartens and agricultural lands. I thought the idea has appeal for our family. Dad's latest project is a row of 8 semi-D factories with double storey offices, due for completion by year end or thereabouts.
The lunch was a success. It planted the seed of a new idea in my head. I thought it illuminates the path forward for us working together while also solving a few problems for our family along the way. I would like to make this work.
